iPad/Android O.S. Supported by Fastrack
|

Fastrack applications can now be accessed by the Apple iPad and
Android operating system supported devices. Fastrack clients
can access the entire suite of Fastrack HME, Infusion Pharmacy
and Home Healthcare Agency applications on one of these devices
including Fastrack’s Delivery Automation and Equipment
Maintenance module. This mobile application allows delivery
personnel to verify the correct product is being delivered,
capture the patient’s signature and collect COD amounts by
processing credit cards in the field. These devices can also be
used with Fastrack’s Point of Care mobile application which
allows nurses, respiratory therapists and other field personnel
to capture virtually any clinical information using user
definable forms at the patient’s bedside.

The iPad and Android "client" software, which is
required for these devices, make use of intuitive
multi-touch gestures to achieve popular mouse and
keyboard operations. Both clients incorporate
Auto-Zoom, a valuable feature for different screen
sizes and touch screens. When accessing the Fastrack
applications, Auto-Zoom detects the section of the
screen currently active in the application and
automatically zooms in on that area.
Fastrack clients utilizing the company’s hosted (SaaS)
environment can simply download the free iPad or
Android client. The client application is available
now at the Apple Store or Google Play for the
Android version.

Clients with an on-premise server running Fastrack with
Go-Global can also use the free client, otherwise you will
require a software license which can be ordered from their
Fastrack Account Manager.

Fastrack on the Road
Fastrack has been busy exhibiting at state association meetings
and the Spring Medtrade show. We were pleased to sponsor a
number of state shows and have had the opportunity to meet one
on one with both clients and providers considering switching to
Fastrack. Quite a few software companies have been acquired
recently and providers have been put in a position where they
are being forced to switch systems, in most cases to software
with less functionality. As a result Fastrack has added a
substantial number of new clients, many of whom we met at the
state meetings.
Over the last few months we have been to the PAMES, NYMEP, NEMED,
JAMES, MESA and ADMEA meetings as well as NHIA & Medtrade Spring.
