Fastrack Joins the Mediware Team

 

On June 13, 2013 – Fastrack Healthcare Systems was acquired by Mediware Information Systems, Inc., a provider of comprehensive healthcare IT software solutions. Mediware plans to leverage Fastrack solutions to expand the current focus of the company’s ‘Alternate Care Solutions’ product line, which was formed to provide workflow, billing and reimbursement support for home infusion, home medical equipment and home health agencies. iPad/Android O.S. Supported by Fastrack

 

 

 

Fastrack applications can now be accessed by the Apple iPad and Android operating system supported devices.  Fastrack clients can access the entire suite of Fastrack HME, Homecare Pharmacy and Home Healthcare Agency applications on one of these devices including Fastrack’s Delivery Automation and Equipment Maintenance module.  This mobile application allows delivery personnel to verify the correct product is being delivered, capture the patient’s signature and collect COD amounts by processing credit cards in the field.  These devices can also be used with Fastrack’s Point of Care mobile application which allows nurses, respiratory therapists and other field personnel to capture virtually any clinical information using user definable forms at the patient’s bedside.

The interface has already been implemented at some joint customer locations that utilize the Fastrack Enterprise System.  For those of you who do not know, Authentidate, streamlines care order processing, provides seamless fax management and adds eSignature for physicians through Inscrybe.  The integration makes everything work together better and faster and virtually eliminates your input time altogether. 

Authentidate, the Inscrybe Referral and Order Management solution is a web-based software service that enables providers and suppliers to process referrals and care orders faster and more accurately than ever before.  Physicians can use Inscrybe to exchange, update, complete and electronically sign referrals and care orders quickly and accurately using this solution.  Inscrybe also provides electronic fax service so physicians that have not yet converted to electronic records can elect to continue to communicate via fax.

So, if you are now on Inscrybe or considering it for your enterprise management needs, you should also consider adding the interface between Inscrybe and Fastrack.  We’ve made it simpler and faster to get started and smoother to manage your referrals once you are on it.

Fastrack to Host Annual User Conference in New York April 25th and 26th

 

 

We are currently preparing for another year of informative and fun offerings during our three day event in April 2013!   Mark your calendar and start making travel arrangements to attend the Fastrack User Conference scheduled for April 25th and 26th, 2011.  The Conference is FREE to our users, with no registration fees and provides an opportunity to network with other Fastrack users from all over the country! Meet our staff, the people you talk to from day to day, whether it is in our Training Department, Support Center, Computer Services or Technical Support.   Put a face with the voice you so frequently work with!

 

The conference dates allow you stay and spend a long weekend in New York City or on Long Island, with a number of options for fun!  The city – a short 40 minutes from the conference center – offers world class Restaurants, Theater and Night Life, the Island offers Beaches, Vineyards and other activities including Golf and Shopping!

 

We will be dedicating the first day, April 24th, 2013, to a single all inclusive fee based, optional Training offering.  This day will be focused on Training Courses designed for the beginner, intermediate and advanced user of the Fastrack suite of software, including focus in each operational area offered on the Fastrack system – HME, IV and HHA.   Optional modules will be covered in detail, including Integrated Intake, Home Health Scheduling, Automated Warehouse, Field Operations and Scoreboard.  We will also be providing specific focus on operational areas such as Inventory Management, Cash Receipts, Reporting and more! 

 

 

Fastrack Expands Staff in Response to Increasing Demand

Fastrack is pleased to announce additions to our staff in Software Development, Quality Assurance, Implementation and Training and our Sales department.  Fastrack has been experiencing substantial growth and as a result plans to increase hiring in 2012 and 2013.

 

New Fastrack Service Resolves Major Provider Problem

A major problem for HME and Homecare Pharmacy providers is being virtually eliminated thanks to a new service called Fastrack MDI. The service uses a master death index database that is updated weekly to determine if patients in the provider’s Fastrack system are deceased.

 

A serious challenge facing providers is the consequences of a patient dying and not being notified. This could lead to inappropriately billing for rental equipment as well as the financial loss due to not being able to retrieve the product in a timely manner. Providers are constantly telling us that the deceased’s family, not knowing the provider owns the equipment, will sell it on eBay.  For further information click here.
